The MKM Copper-Cobalt Mine, located in Kolwezi, Lualaba Province, DRC, covers a concession area of 6.72 square kilometers. It is the first CREC?Resources mining project in the DRC to be built, commissioned, and to achieve full investment recovery.The operation currently processes 660,000 tonnes of ore annually, yielding an output of 18,000 tonnes of cathode copper, 80,000 tonnes of sulfuric acid, and 2,000 tonnes of liquid sulfur dioxide.
